So what’s my approach to coaching? I’m going to tell you. I view my coaching similar to a manager to a baseball team. When you’re a manager of a baseball team, you have a group of guys that you need to put together to go out and compete and try to win against as many opponents as possible. You plan for offense and defense, take the different pieces, and put them together. The manager looks to see a player’s weaknesses, a player’s strengths, puts the player in the right position to succeed every time.

That’s what a coach does. A coach looks at the client and says, “Okay, what are your skillset? What are you trying to achieve? What’s your approach? What do you need help in?” And just looks at the big picture, looks at all the little pieces of puzzles, and helps the person puts those pieces together to make a full system.

And that’s what it comes down to. It’s all about a system, folks. If you look at any success story whatsoever and you really try to analyze that success story, you’re going to see one thing in common: they have a system. They do the same thing over and over and they get the same results. And that’s what a coach tries to do with their clients, get a system that works for them.

You may be able to take a piece from this person, a piece from this person, a piece from this person and put it together that works for you. You can’t just take an off-the-shelf system that says okay, I’m going to do this, because people are different. Just like companies are different. Everyone has their own DNA. That’s what I try to do. I try to find out what the DNA is of that person, and we try to put a system together that works specifically for them.

Now how do I do this? Well there’s different settings. The first is One-on-One coaching. Basically you have one-on-one with me for an hour a week, and we’ll go through and we’ll do some stuff, and I’m going to give you homework. I’m going to hold you accountable for stuff because that’s what you want a coach to do: hold you accountable. And that’s what I’m going to do.
If you’re not ready for a one-on-one and you just maybe want a similar thing, well I have Small Group Coaching Groups, groups of six or less. Again, we meet once a week and we go through all this stuff and we try to figure out how to help each person. And a lot of the stuff can help all six people at once, and then there’s some stuff that we spotlight every week, one person, and we try to help that person as much as possible as a group setting. It works for a lot of different people; they like it that way.

Also there’s another thing that I do as coaching, and that is day job to dream job. Basically what that is, there’s a book and a course, Day Job to Dream Job by Kary Oberbrunner. It is a fantastic book; it’s a fantastic course. I took the course and I loved it so much that I became a Day Job To Dream Job Certified Coach.  I’ll help people through that course and use my own stuff to form a bigger foundation that gives you even more, it’s a great one-two punch.

So those are the options. Whichever one you want to do, let’s do this: how about let’s talk for 30 minutes for free. We talk about it. We figure out what approach might work for you. You can decide if I’m the coach for you, and we’ll go from there.

So fill out the form over to the side, and let’s get started. See you soon.
